Conejo Academy
of Leadership and Language Immersion
We are home to the Conejo Valley's first Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Program.
DLI is a research-proven instructional approach that prepares students to think, read and write in two languages, resulting in students becoming bilingual, multiliterate and bicultural. For the 2024-2025 school year, we are accepting enrollment for students entering transitional kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade. Students entering second grade can enroll in the DLI program if they previously participated in a Spanish-English DLI program or if they have a strong foundation in Spanish and English oral and literacy skills. Conejo Academy is a TK-5 campus with a school-wide emphasis on developing multilingual and multicultural leaders. Since 2018, Conejo Academy has been recognized as a ""Leader in Me"" Lighthouse School. The Leader in Me program is founded on the belief that everyone has the potential to be a leader. By collaborating with students, families, staff and the community, we nurture student leadership, foster a culture of trust and focus on individual academic success. Being recognized as a Lighthouse School means we are an exemplar to the community and other schools.
